Encouraging Bible Verses for Singles

Hosea 2:19&20
I will betroth you to me forever;
I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.
I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.

1 Corinthians 7:8
Now to the unmarried and the widows I say:
It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do.

1 Corinthians 7:17,27,28,32,33,35,&37
Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.
Are you pledged to a woman? Do not seek to be released. Are you free from such a commitment? Do not look for a wife.
But if you do marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry will face many troubles in this life, and I want to spare you this.
I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs–how he can please the Lord.
But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world–how he can please his wife–
I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord.
But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will, and who has made up his mind not to marry the virgin–this man also does the right thing.

Psalm 37:4
Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Hebrews 13:4
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Romans 7:4
So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

Galatians 6:4
Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.

2 Peter 1:5-8
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Saved & Single Woman’s Prayer

Father God,
Let me not look on my countenance, or on the height of a man’s stature;
because I have refused him: for You see not as man sees; for man looking
on the outward appearance, but You look on the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).
LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise
myself in great matters, or in things too high for me (Psalm 131:1).
LORD, you are my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in You, and
I am helped (Psalm 28:7). Create me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right
spirit within me (Psalm 51:10). Help, Father God, to walk in the Spirit, and I will not
fulfill the lust of the flesh. For You taught me that the flesh lusteth against the Spirit
and the things (Galatians 5:16-17). Teach me how to choose love over lust as I flee from
youthful lust, and help me follow righteousness, faith, love, peace with them that call on
You out of pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22). Let me be holy without blaming him before him in love (Ephesians 1:4), and Father, I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works; and that my soul knoweth right well. LORD, please bless me
like you blessed Sarah, Remember me like you remembered Rachel, Answer me
when I pray like you answered Hannah, Crown me like you crowned Esther,
Favor me like you favored Mary, and Reward me like you rewarded Ruth.
In Jesus Name,

Don’t Text Me because you’re Bored

Lesson Learned!!

We all have those people in our lives that only come back to us when they have no one else entertaining their drama. You know, that ex that left you for someone else, but comes back when that relationship is failing? The person who you had to drop because the relationship only connected on a physical level, but they hit you up hoping you dropped Jesus?
“Hey stranger…”

Some people will only hit you up after you drop a nice selfie. They see you looking happy and they want to pop back up to see if that door is still opened. If someone can jump in and out of your life, that means you are not moving forward, neither are you closing the door to the person God removed from your life. One of the most dangerous things you can do in a relationship is give a permanent position to…

Gentlemen, if you are one those guys that are single and wondering if Ms. Right exists, well, Mz. Keshia got the main solutions to that just like I have it for the ladies. I define the REAL Ms. Right as a REAL woman that does exist when you may be dreaming of. She’s the type that’s sent from God above that every single man should be praying for.

So, now that I’ve given some examples, I will give you some qualities of choosing the RIGHT one wisely, and Ladies, you might want to take notes (biblical terms).

WOMAN #1: Mrs. Bathsheba

Gentlemen, you remember her story? You should because she’s the type of woman every man be lusting for. King David would kill her husband just have her for himself. So instead of you looking at her body, use your brain and pay attention to her heart. She may be fine, but she’s a temptress so don’t tempt yourself.

WOMAN #2: Ms. Delilah

Now, this woman here is a gold-digger.  You remember her story. She was bribed by the Philistines to capture Samson. She is the most deceitful woman you can ever imagine. Stay away from women like her, guys.

WOMAN #3: Ms. Drusilla

This woman is the Bible’s Most Famous temptress that you don’t get to hear too much about. If any woman that’s stopping you from seeking God diligently, avoid her. She can definitely be a piece of work.

WOMAN #4: Mrs. Jezebel

Gentlemen, you heard the saying, “Carry yourself like a queen, and you’ll attract a king. Carry yourself like a hoe, and see how far you’ll go.” Well, guys, that lets you know that a lot of women that are like Jezebel. She may be beautiful, to you, but don’t be fooled when you out that she’s the She-Devil in disguise. Trust me, you really don’t want to eat any of the fruits she bears because she is poisonous!!

WOMAN #5: Mrs. Potiphar

Now this is the woman you really need to stay away from. She’ll do anything to get what she wants. Knowing that she’s married, she did the worse thing anybody would do, and that’s being a liar and bringing the law in on her lies just to ruin your life and your reputation. Be careful with women like her, guys.

Now that I’ve kept it 100 on the qualities of Ms. Wrong, let’s talk about the qualities of Ms. Right.

WOMAN #1: Mrs. Esther

Gentlemen, if you want to be treated like a king, you must treat a woman like a queen. But on the real deal, you should know the game of true love. It’s like playing a game of chess.

A queen like Esther should do anything to protect her king like Xerxes because her king is afraid of losing his queen. She may be Persia’s Top Queen, but she is one the famous women in the Bible.

WOMAN #2: Mrs. Ruth

You may not find a woman in the city, but you may find her in the country out in the fields of wheat. This woman is such a gentle and kind woman who is no stranger to hard work as well as caring for her loved ones like her mother-in-law. Trust me, you have to be a Boaz for a virtuous woman and remind her that she’s worth more than rubies, and she is another one of the famous woman in the Bible, too.

WOMAN #3: Mrs. Deborah

Now this woman, she is independent who is the 4th Judge of Israel and a Prophetess of God. You know her story, guys. To pray for an independent woman like Deborah who is doing something productive with her life, you better work hard to hold on to her.

WOMAN #4: Mrs. Hannah

This woman have the same status like Sarah and Rebecca: childless. But once she prayed to God to bless her with a child, she did what a mother would do, and that’s giving her son Samuel back to God. If you want to have a wonderful family of your own, pray about it and God will bless you for it because once you get your blessing, make sure that you don’t owe God anything. Find a woman like her that will give herself to God and you do the same because that’s all God wants. He wants you all to Himself! Believe that!

WOMAN #5: Mrs. Mary

This is a blessed and highly favored woman is the Mother of God’s Beloved Son! Even though she was young, she was chosen by God. She is loving and caring woman who was married to a carpenter. When she knew that her precious Lamb had died on the Calvary’s cross, she believed that her Son demonstrated what love is!

Now that I’ve introduced you to 5 traits of Ms. Right, understand that Godly women like her, don’t need be the woman who needs a man. But to be the woman a man needs. With that being said, the REAL Ms. Right should be the woman that every man should be praying for!

Ladies, if you are one of those ladies that are single and wondered if Mr. Right exists, I got the main solution to that. Mr. Right, to me, only exist when you may be dreaming of, but the REAL Mr. Right is the one that is chosen by God Himself that every single lady should be praying for.

It’s just like the R&B singer Bobby V said in his song “Words”, ‘A good man’s hard to find,

That’s one of your favorite lines, But finding wifey ain’t no easier.’ Even Jay Songbird said the same thing from his song “Meant for Me”, ‘True love is really hard to find, If you’re not there in the right place at the right time, Lookin’ for that special one.’ To be honest, these singers really proved a point or two.

So, now that I’ve given a little bit of examples, here’s some guidelines for allowing

the REAL Mr. Right to look for you.

MAN #1: Mr. Player

He’s the type of guy that loves to play games. Yes, he thinks he got the game and he treats you like you’re his game piece. He’s easy to fool you, and here’s the tip: Your heart is like glass so don’t fall in love with this guy because he will break your heart. He kin to Mr. Cheater so avoid these guys.

MAN #2: Mr. Psycho

Ladies, please be very careful around this guy. Even if he’s a felon, be careful. He will love you and he will be charming and tender for one minute, and at the next minute he will fight you or worse! Don’t think that it’s love for a man to hit you because it’s NOT! Stay far, far away from that guy, please!!

MAN #3: Mr. Cheap

If you don’t set an expensive price on yourself, Ladies, then this guy will treat you like you’re so cheap. It’s important for you to value yourself and you mustn’t give your love away to some man that’s cheap because love is the most expensive gift.

MAN #4: Mr. Lazy

He’s the type of man who doesn’t do anything to help out, and you’ll get real fed about him. A guy who doesn’t work, doesn’t cook, doesn’t clean doesn’t lift a finger to do anything, he’s so multinegative. You definitely don’t need a guy like him. He’s the cousin to Mr. User who kin to Mr. Scrub.

Ladies, learn to take expectations for yourselves. Just like what the honorable Judge Faith Jenkins said before: “A man that says they love you but you are not his girlfriend, a man that says they love you but they’re blocking you on Facebook, a man that says they love you but they refuse to pay for something, He’s not a lover, honey. He’s a user.” Remember that.

Moving on to Man #5…

MAN #5: Mr. Know It All

Now, Ladies, you really need to take notes because what I’m about to say is true. Whatever you do, Do Not, and I repeat, DO NOT fall in love with this guy because he knows how to say the right things- – thinking that he’s GOD.  Well, guess what. He is NOT God. In case you might ask

yourself what are the signs of Mr. Know It All, well, Ladies, I’ll give you some tips on that.

TIP #1: If you tell him that you have feelings towards him and he gives this textbook line saying: “I already know that, but I only see as a friend”, that’s the one of the signs of Mr. Know It All.

TIP #2: If he thinks he’s so smart, do the unthinkable: Challenge him by giving him a quiz to test how smart he is.  Challenge him the following questions:

1.) What’s a nacho?

2.) Name the 12 Tribes of Israel and what the 3 books of the Bible to find them

3.) Name the 12 Disciples and where to find them in the Bible.

At the end of this topic, I’ll give the answers to those 3 later. But right now, let’s move on to the next man on the avoiding list. I’ll explain the answers later.

MAN #6: Mr. Married

Ladies, that’s the guy you really to be careful with. He can be an angel to you but the moment when you find out about his marital status, you’d feel awful. They can easily fool you to think that he’s single when knowing he’s married. Regardless if he has a pending divorce, he technically still married. Too many women falling for married men like this one. In case you happen to forget, it’s against God’s Law for married men to be messing around with unmarried women. Guess you see why they called these men like him “Sugar Daddies”.

MAN #7: Mr. Insecure

Ladies, beware of men that are stalking you and controlling your every move! This guy kin to Mr. Stalker and Mr. Control Freak. Whatever you do, DO NOT allow these guys disrespect you, boss you around, or stomp on your heart because you have feelings.

Now, about Mr. Know It All…these are the answers to the three questions.

1.) A nacho is when you see someone that’s been taken, it means something’s nachos.

2.) Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin

Genesis 29-30; Numbers 1; and Revelation 7 are the 12 Tribes of Israel.

3.)  Simon Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus (Judas), Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot (replaced by Matthias)

Matthew 10:2-4; Mark 3:14-19; Luke 6:13-16; and Acts 1:13-26 are the 12 Disciples.

Now that I’ve kept it real on the qualities of Mr. Wrong, let’s talk about the qualities of Mr. Right in biblical terms.

MAN #1: Mr. Boaz

He’s a very fine man with such great wealth. He’s a God-fearing man that is doing something productive with his life such as being a landowner of Bethlehem and a kinsman of Naomi’s late husband, Elimelech. See, Ruth? She didn’t go out her way to find a man so what did she do? She glean in the fields, where she met Boaz.

MAN #2: Mr. Xerxes

This is the king of his own kingdom. You remember Vashti? He already kicked her to the curb for refusing the king’s commandment and following that, guess who he chose as Persia’s Next Top Queen. You guessed it, Esther! So, if you want a guy that’ll treat you like a Queen, you better pray that the man has the same quality like Mr. Xerxes.

MAN #3: Mr. Job 29 Man

Now, Ladies, this the guy that would love to be a husband to a Proverb 31 Woman. Like Boaz and Xerxes, this special man will not only treat you like a Diamond, but he will remind you are virtuous and you’re worth way more than rubies.

Now that I’ve introduced you to the 3 in 1 Mr. Right, understand that a Godly man like him, it takes a handsome man to open your eyes, an intelligent man to open your mind, and a gentleman to open your heart. With that being said, the REAL Mr. Right should be the man that every lady should be praying!
